Does transparency about limitations improve trust in AI companion apps?
9 days ago by seveulear
Apps that clearly acknowledge what they can’t do feel more honest. I’ve noticed that when an AI pretends to understand everything, trust actually drops. Clear boundaries make interactions feel safer and more realistic. Knowing the limits helps set expectations and reduces frustration. Paradoxically, admitting limitations often makes the AI feel more credible and dependable, especially for users who plan to use it regularly.
